Conference time
Gwen and I will be attending the ECEBE conference as well as the Early Years Institute in Victoria this coming week. We hope to have some great information to post on the blog.
We have been trying to spread the word at meetings and recently Gwen has been making contact with people in Powell River.

Update from the Leadership workshop
Gwen and I did a 5 day leadership workshop in Vancouver last week. We have made some very good contacts at the workshop to help us with implementing our project. There is a lot of work to be done but hopefully we will be able to get most of it done. We have heard from some people that easier access to courses in ECE is needed. That is something that we are working on – an idea that maybe we could have course via skype maybe helpful to some people. Let us know what you think.

Proposed Project
The purpose of this project is to – Support initiatives that assist in the professional development of Early Childhood Educators, including building esteem so that Early Childhood Educators confidently and expertly share the value of their work with the community.
